General information:

Miles joined the firm on a full-time basis in the fall of 2008. Miles' principal areas of practice are estate planning and probate administration, elder law and social security disability appeals.

Miles is very active in local non-profit organizations. He is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the United Way of Oxford County, having served on the board since coming to the firm in 2008. He serves on the Board of Directors for Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice. In addition to serving on this board, Miles is the Vice-Chairman on the Executive Committee, the Chairman of the Planned Giving Committee and serves on the Foundation Committee.

Miles was born and raised in Cumberland, Maine, attending Greely High School. He received his B.A. in Political Science from Dickinson College in 2004, where he played varsity baseball for 4 years. While at the Maine School of Law, he was a regional finalist in the National Trial Competition held at University of North Carolina.

He currently lives in North Yarmouth, Maine with his wife, two children and two dogs. He continues to be very active in the baseball world. He coaches varsity baseball at his alma mater, Greely High School, and is an avid Boston Red Sox fan. He is also very active in the Barbershop Harmony Society, singing with the Downeasters men's chorus and his own barbershop quartet.
